LOCAL MISSIONS
Gabriel’s House • They help homeless women and their children. • They provide faith-based healing and wholeness to help those receiving assistance have sustained independent living.
Prayer Requests o Pray that they can reach and help more women. o Pray for their goal to open 2 to 4 additional Gabriel’s Houses throughout the county. o Pray for the staff and volunteers.
Ventura County Pregnancy Center • They reach and help pregnant women in need. • Their services include prenatal care, classes, resources, and education for alternatives to abortion.
Prayer Requests o Pray that they can connect with more churches and organizations to get the word out about the services they offer. o Pray for the mentoring program they would like to create to help people after they have received services. o Pray for the staff and volunteers.
Ventura County Rescue Mission • They feed, educate, and empower homeless people. • In addition to feeding the hungry, they provide clothing, shelter, transitional housing, vocational training, recovery programs, and more.
Prayer Requests o Pray for their desire to increase their program and shelter capacities and be able to partner with other organizations. o Pray for their long-term goal to acquire a ranch that would serve as a program facility to extend their reach. o Pray for the staff and volunteers.
Angeles Crest • They provide a place where children, youth, and adults can grow and know Christ.
• The mission of Angeles Crest is to see lives changed through Jesus Christ by providing “mountain-top” experiences with an eternal impact.
Prayer Requests o Pray that they can reach over 10,000 individuals per year. o Pray for their facility upgrade, that they can bring on new staff, and facility expansion to serve more people. o Pray for the staff and volunteers.
Young Life • They reach local youth to help them know Christ and connect them with churches. • They build relationships, then share their lives and the gospel with them.
Prayer Requests o Pray that they can build good partnerships with the body of Christ across the city. o Pray that they can be in every high school and middle school in the city. o Pray for Braulio, Christina, and all the other Young Life workers.
MISSIONS AROUND THE WORLD
Steve and Debbie – Southeast Asia • They reach Muslims to share the Gospel and they work to help stop human trafficking.
Prayer Requests o Pray that their efforts reaching Muslims via local churches. o Pray for more visibility for their efforts to stop human trafficking. o Pray for the Steve and Debbie and the people they work with.
Free Wheelchair Mission – Worldwide • They provide mobility (wheelchairs) people who have no mobility due to illness or disability.
Prayer Requests o Pray for their work to try to provide another million wheelchairs for those in need by 2025 o Pray for their staff and volunteers.

Life in Abundance – Africa and the Caribbean • They equip churches to fight poverty in their areas. • They help identify the causes of poverty in the churches area and then develop sustainable ways to bring about transformation.
Prayer Requests o Pray that they can extend their reach and help more people. o Pray that they reach more churches and communities. o Pray for their staff and volunteers.
Ron and Patty Morse – North Burma Christian Mission – Southeast Asia • They help people know Christ, educate, and provide assistance and services in many areas to people in Southeast Asia.
Prayer Requests o Pray that they reach and exceed their short-term goals to help thousands of people in multiple areas including widow assistance, providing reading glasses, bible education, and more. o Pray for Ron and Patty and their multi-generational family serving alongside of them.
Chris McKinney – Dynamic Church Planting International – Asia • Chris and his associates help train people to plant churches throughout Asia.
Prayer Requests o Pray that he continues to develop systems and policies that assist church planters to be more effective to reach people for Christ. o Pray that he has the support that he needs to continue this work. o Pray for their him and his associates to be effective in their work.
Nino’s De Baja – El Porvenir, Baja California • Nino’s de Baja is an orphanage in Mexico. • They minister to, care for, and serve the children of Baja California.
Prayer Requests o Pray for the construction of the new home for teen girls. o Pray that they can hire a staff Psychologist to help the children. o Pray for their staff and volunteers.
Mike and Lynne Yaeman – Nino’s De Baja, El Porvenir, Baja California • Mike and Lynne serve at Nino’s, coordinate mission teams, and work with the children and staff. • Among other things, they focus on developing a new Godly culture for the staff and help provide new opportunities for the children.
Prayer Requests o Pray that they can be effective beyond their imagination in the work that they are doing. o Pray for them to have the support they need, both financially and spiritually.
Greg and Vicki Syverson – Pachuca, Hidalgo, Mexico • They plant churches and work to reach the lost in Mexico. • They work with their leaders to start groups and reach their neighbors.
Prayer Requests o Pray that they can reach more people for Christ. o Pray that they reach more people through the school they’ve started.
Kanter Family, Donna Beeson, and others – Bolivia, Myanmar, and beyond • Tim, Angela, Megan, Emma, and the rest of the team traveling to Bolivia to the Talita Cumi orphanage to do a camp for the children. • Donna working with Kidz at Heart in Myanmar in September.
Prayer Requests o Pray for safe travels, enormously effective work by the team, more breakthroughs among the children, and health for all. o Pray for unity and bonding of Donna’s team of 5 people going to Myanmar.
