CARINGBRIDGE PAGE FOR LAURIE DEREMER:  Here’s a link to a website where you can sign up to view and receive updates on Laurie’s journey:  https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/lauriederemer. You can post well wishes and prayers as well as view photos that we will be uploading along the way.  This will also be the place where Laurie and Pat will be posting journal entries as the days and weeks progress.  IMPORTANT: CaringBridge relies entirely on donations to keep the site going. However, at first glance it MAY appear to some as though they are donating to a fund for Laurie but this is not the case.

MEAL TRAIN FOR LAURIE AND PAT: Pat and Laurie’s good friend Sheila has set up a meal train that can be used in signing up to provide a meal for them. The link to the meal train: https://mealtrain.com/3lmg9y

STEPHEN MINISTRY: In difficult times, God’s love is especially precious to us, and it is very important to know someone who cares. Our congregation has trained Stephen Ministers who offer a ministry of Christian caring. To find out more about receiving a Stephen Minister’s care, write “Stephen Ministry” on your Connection Card and place it in the offering basket on Sunday or call Art or Rose Flatray at 805.987.1428 for more information.

THIS SUNDAY we wrap up our study through the book of Galatians. We’ll be focusing on Galatians 5:26–6:10. With two different natures now living inside us, they are continually facing off for in a title fight for our lives. Is there a way we can know the new nature is going to beat the old nature?  We’ll find out together!

Love you guys,

Scott
