IN THIS UPDATE:
THIS SUNDAY morning, as we’re in the final weeks of our study in the book of Hebrews, we come to Hebrews 12:14-17. We’re going to look at God’s call to grow up spiritually and how that leads to living at peace with others. In a world that seems more divided than ever, it’s an important to know what God’s word has to say about it being peacemakers. I look forward to seeing you.

DISCIPLE-MAKING 101 – ANSWERING THE GREAT COMMISSION Seminar, Friday, August 10th, 7 pm to 9 pm and Saturday, August 11th, 9 am to 1 pm, Sojourn Church (445 Rosewood Ave, Suite G, Camarillo): Every Christian has been given the responsibility of making disciples of Jesus. But that can be hard to do, especially in Southern California. This seminar gives practical tips and concrete tools that will help you to share Jesus with the people God has already placed in your life.
What’s the difference between Disciple-Making and Evangelism?
How do I know if people in my life even want to hear about Jesus?
What if I think I’m definitely not a good enough Christian, don’t know enough and am not spiritual enough to teach anyone about Jesus?
What does the Disciple-Making process look like?
“Ok! I found someone who wants to know Jesus… now what do I do?”
I don’t have a testimony to share, so how do I share my faith?
What happens if people have questions I can’t answer?
“I was really, really skeptical of this class. I wasn’t comfortable talking to people about my faith. But afterward, when God brought someone across my path who was ready to start a relationship with Him, I was ready to guide her. It has been so cool being involved in her journey.”- Hannah Slaven
Cost: $30 until August 5th (after that, $100)
