Life in Abundance

Life in Abundance

Life In Abundance International (LIA) is an African-founded, faith-based community development organization. LIA works in more than 30 communities in 10 countries throughout Africa and the Caribbean.

LIA exists to mobilize the local church to restore health, renew hope and inspire lasting transformation for the world’s most vulnerable families. This is achieved through LIA’s transformational development approach that requires community ownership and sustainable solutions. LIA, in partnership with local church and civic leadership, determines communities’ most significant needs and then trains, supports and works alongside community members to meet those needs for the long-term.

Ninos de Baja

Niños de Baja

Ninos de Baja is an orphanage located in the tiny farm town of Ejido El Porvenir, Baja, Mexico. Ninos provides a home for children who have been orphaned, abandoned or abused.  Most of the children are very young, and they have all arrived at Ninos through tragedy. At Ninos, they find that they are now loved, safe, wanted and valued. Gold Coast is a financial sponsor of Ninos. The monthly support of area churches is vital to the continued operations in Mexico. Just as important are the Gold Coast volunteers that travel down to Ninos several times a year. These mission trips can include anything from construction projects, bringing school supplies, re-supplying their food stores, participating in the annual Christmas Shoe Box event or just spending time loving and playing with the kids.

There are several ways you can participate in the amazing work taking place at Ninos de Baja.

• keep the children, staff and mission in prayer
• take part in one of the trips down to Mexico
• become a sponsor to one of the children at Ninos
• contribute some of the items on the Needs List on their web site

Free Wheelchair Mission

Free Wheelchair Mission

transforming lives with the gift of mobility

Mission & Vision

Free Wheelchair Mission is a humanitarian, faith-based, nonprofit organization that provides wheelchairs at no cost to people with disabilities living in developing nations. In collaboration with a network of like-minded partners, FWM has sent more than 822,000 wheelchairs to people in 91 countries, providing dignity,  independence and hope through the gift of mobility.

Our Mission is to provide the transforming gift of mobility to the physically disabled poor in developing countries as motivated by Jesus Christ.

Our Vision is to be a world-class provider of mobility, transforming the lives of 100,000 people with disabilities in 2014.

With an estimated 100 million people around the world today in need of a wheelchair without the means to get one, FWM strives to distribute over 100,000 chairs annually, and continues to pursue our goal to distribute 1 million chairs by the year 2017. Free Wheelchair Mission continues its focus and commitment on becoming a leading provider of mobility in developing nations, but beyond placing recipients in a chair, FWM is bringing transformation that opens doors to education, employment opportunities and community that these individuals only dreamed of before receiving the gift of mobility.
